fic-writer-y stuff
Jan. 11th, 2011 05:00 pmSo wayyyyyyy back before the end-of-year holidays,
ziparumpazoo was asking people this question; and since a) I didn't write enough in 2010 to merit doing a fic-year-in-review post, and b) I am really curious about other people's answers (with the added benefit that it might give me a shortcut to catching up on some of the fic I know I have missed *g*), I am declaring it a meme and answering it here.
What are, in your opinion, your three best pieces of work? Not the most popular, or the most fun to write, but the three stories you've written that, once finished, you've stepped back and thought that yes, this is exactly how it was supposed to turn out?
So, here are mine:

Anyone else want to give it a go for their fic list?

In a similar vein I've been thinking about making up an 'interview yourself about your WIPs' meme ... e.g., 'What's the oldest WIP on your current hard drive?' and/or similar questions. Usually I have the slightly-superstitious attitude that if I talk about my WIPs in public it is absolutely sure to kill them, but since they aren't getting finished anyway, maybe I've got it backwards? Hee. But the problem is that I can't seem to make up my mind if what I am looking for is a motivational intervention or an exorcism. Maybe what I really need is a finish-a-ficathon. Or possibly a ficamnesty day? Hmm.
