May. 6th, 2009 03:02 pmI have a cold. I am tired of my cold. I keep thinking my cold is going away, but then it keeps not going. Grr.

ziparumpazoo hid this excellent little Bill Lee ficlet in my comments. Just thought I'd mention it .... *g* Also, if anyone felt like writing us more fic we would never complain about that. Yes, I am shameless.
And probably because I am under the influence of a cold and medications, I thought I'd share the (fairly small) cumulative results of my approximately three month long experiment in icon-making (well, these and a few others that I made forbinkii822). Among other things, I can say that I pretty much hate GIMP's font selection interface. And, actually, making text look decent in general. =) Random SG-1, West Wing, NCIS, and Bones icons.
Feel free to entertain yourselves by trying to guess which ones I made nearer to the beginning of the learning-to-use-graphics-tools phase.
Oh! And I have been/am still doing some housekeeping on my photobucket account and my LJ scrapbook, so images on my journal (not these though) may be prone to temporarily vanishing. And I did finally create a dreamwidth journal over here, although I have no idea what I'm going to do with it exactly yet. I haven't finished looking up everyone on my flist over there yet, but feel free to add me if you like.
