three for thursday
So I just pulled out the fic I didn't manage to finish for a_loquita & binkii822's birthday last year, and look:
When he calls her on Wednesday afternoon, a five-minute conversation wedged into the gap between one hostile meeting and another, he expects her to just say yes.
See? More telephones. Hahahahahahah. I'm kind of afraid to look at any of my other WIPs now.
In other news,a_loquita recently pointed out to me that this summer it will have been five years since Continuum came out. Which, okay, how has it been five years? But getting past that double-take moment - there should be fannish things to commemorate this, right? Promptathon, SG-1 meme, general nostalgic squee-age*? Yes? Someone tell me if this is happening somewhere.
Meanwhile, speaking of nostalgic squee-age, there is a general Gateverse promptathon thing (fic, art, etc.) going on through the end of May - on DW or on LJ.
* No, autocorrect, I do not mean squeegee. I do not admit to laughing at that substitution, either.
